I love Yoplait yogurt. In fact, it's really the only kind I like. And, my girls love yogurt. When I give it to them for breakfast, that's pretty much all they eat. I don't even buy the little containers anymore. Nope. I buy the mega size containers because we go through it so quickly. Well, this morning, I gave them some strawberry yoplait in their little bowls. Brooklyn calls it "yogurt" and Hannah calls it "ogurt." (lol) Hannah had finished her first helping and she said, "More please." Then, Brooklyn pipes in with, "What?! More yogurt?!" What a funny kid!
Tonight, I went on a date with Greg's parents, sister, and BIL. Too bad Greg's out of town. He missed out. Sorry, Greg. We went and saw the movie "The Bucket List" with Morgan Freeman and Jack Nicholson. I really liked it. Afterward, we went to the OG (Olive Garden) for dinner. I, of course, had my favorite fettuccine alfredo. Yummy!!
Time out!!
No, that's not a picture of one of my kids in time out. But, when I put them in time out, you'd think that's what I was doing sometimes by the way they love it. When the girls are crying for no reason and won't stop, we take them to time out. We also do time out for hitting, pushing, etc., but the crying is the main reason for time out at our house lately. Anyway, whenever one of the girls screams, the other one will say, "No screaming!" Well, today Brooklyn was screaming, and Hannah said, "No screaming! You need time out?" (lol) Oh, the things my kids pick up on.
Greg is doing well in Georgia. He has class tomorrow (Saturday) and he's off Sunday. Then, they have class Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, with a test on Wednesday. Thursday, they shoot in the morning and graduate in the afternoon. I'll be picking him up a week from today from the airport. Yay!! I won't be a single mom again until next week. The week after he comes home from Georgia, he has to go to Las Vegas on Wednesday, but he'll be back on Thursday. :( Hopefully this will be the last trip for a while.

Do Brooklyn and Hannah look more like Mommy or Daddy?
According to our "Look-Alike Meters," they both look equally like mom and dad. I don't necessarily agree. What do you all think? Just a little something fun for today.

Geez, Louise! Sit down, clown!
This morning, as I was making a gourmet breakfast (frozen waffles, toasted, of course), Hannah decided to stand up on her booster seat. I sternly said, "You need to sit down now!" She, of course, ignored me and continued standing there. All of a sudden, Brooklyn yells, "Sit down, clown!" I was laughing so hard! I can't imagine where she would have gotten that phrase. (Okay, maybe I've said it once or twice.) Boy, they sure catch every word we say these days.
So, speaking of clowns, I have a bit of coulraphobia. Coulraphobia is the fear of clowns. I believe that my fear of clowns can be traced back to the clown at the right. Do you recognize it? Yes, that's right. It's the clown from Poltergeist. Later today, my girls were playing and talking together. Brooklyn must have done something that Hannah didn't like because all of a sudden, I heard Hannah say, "Geez, Louise!" Again, I can't imagine where she would have picked that up. I just had to laugh.
The girls and I went to Mandee and Jamie's house today. Hannah, Brooklyn, and Avery had a fun time playing together. They were jumping on the trampoline in their basement and having a great time. Mandee and I couldn't stop laughing because the girls' hair was so full of static that it was sticking straight out. After playing so hard over there, my girls just crashed at bedtime. Thanks for the play date Mandee, Avery, and Haden.

Ah, I feel like a new woman!

Ah, I waxed my eyebrows yesterday. I feel like a new woman. I know that sounds kinda silly, but it's my little bit of pampering. I just do it myself with Sally Hansen Wax Strips. They work great. I highly recommend them if you haven't tried them. You can get them at your local Wal-Mart. I've included a picture of the wax strips so you know what to look for. I've also included a picture of a Wal-Mart in case you haven't seen one of those before. (lol) The other plus side to waxing my eyebrows is that I look a little less like this:

They look so sweet when they're sleeping.
I love this picture. They were both so sound asleep.
Well, Greg left for Georgia today. He will be gone for two weeks. :( There are some positives to his being gone, though. For one, I don't have to cook much if I don't want to. (LOL) I can watch any shows I want and have full reign of the remote control. Woo hoo!! I won't have as much laundry over the next couple weeks. Plus, my bathrooms will stay cleaner. ;) But, the down side is that the girls and I will be missing him while he's gone. Good luck in Georgia, Greg!
